As my Ebay purchased sat nav is now missing, i am trying to recoup my losses, and work out what options are available to me..
I was mulling options around, and i had a thought,
I have a dell axim X5 pda, which takes CF and SD cards.... its the 32mb model wil this be enough
if i purchase a CF gps card, what else do i need to get satnav running??
is it just some software, if so, which one, and which one is best for the dell

I'm pretty sure you'll need a memory card to install the satnav to, so if you get a CF GPS, you'll need to get a SD memory card.
IMO, Tomtom is the only software to have.

CF (totally outdated) and SDIO GPS cards are relatively useless because TomTom has to be installed on an SD card. If you can find a physically connected GPS receiver feature that will allow you to install an SD card too then it may work... Your only real option is an external Bluetooth GPS receiver and TomTom or somesuch running off an SD card.

Im assuming its a shared port by the way.....
