sheffield or manchester for night out?
right then guys and girls i'm turning 30 next month myself and a group of friends are going to go away for a saturday night on the pi$$. I've narrowed it down to these to because none of us have been before and its not too far from carlisle. just after good pubs and a decent club where theres a good atmosphere and some eye candy and not too expensive. anywhere that plays dance or r'n b music will go down well
cheers mike

Aren't all provincial cities just the same:
Chain bars
Bouncers who cause as much trouble as they stop
Pissed idiots wanting to fight
Fat girls not wearing much

Manchester has its own little area's I.e. Around Picadilly (bit scummy) Printworks, Deansgate, Deansgate Locks (upmarket or upperclasstw*ts - take your pick) Castlefield (better during a nice summers day) Oxford Rd (more students)
BTW if you go onto Oxford Rd area be careful you dont wander into ***-Ville by mistake unless your that way inclined

He's not wrong! Despite being the fourth largest city, Sheffield is more like a larhe town and it isn't much of a night out; you'd be better in Wakefield! Manchester or Leeds are both good; you'll be a lot safer in Sheffield though.....

Manchester is much better than it used to be, being aggrophobic I avoided the place for years, I recently started going in again, and I'm surprised how much it's changed. Just avoid anywhere near canal st unless you like felching
I can't speak for sheffied or leeds, never been.

Where's Fagsville in Manchester then ?, or do you mean the Gay Village, you can be 'The only straight in the vill-age', by the way I dont think being Gay is compulsory and it wont turn you Gay going through it (unless you are unsure).

Yeah ***-ville just off (c)**** st where the handing out of butt plugs is compulsary,
Was told once that load's of straight women go there to avoid being harrassed by all the idiots from Deansgate - so i went, and the women oh the women, Jesus-h-Christ i've never seen anything like it - nor will ever again

The sign actually says '**** treet', I am surprised at your use of slightly homophobic terms, I mean, you call yourself 'The Chief' and I think I have found a picture, but if its not you dont worry about it, (Middle Bottom, ooo err)
Ps, I only went once, it was an eye opener (nowt else), best advised not to go if squeamish, its bandit territory you know !
