Do I take it from all that that you hadn't exchange contracts? And you thought you had sold? Why on earth did you leave the contracts so long? Part of the blame lies with you and/or you legal advisor I'm afraid. If you have exchanged then you can just recover costs etc from them

What do you mean, won't be built? You didn't go for the one with the bar etc in an acre of land?

yep - was there any other one? - fekker didn't tell us that we couldn't get the full size snooker table on PC sums!! He has asked us for 32k for the other 15 acres, which is a bargin, but 32k extra is a bit of a struggle. Did I mention the Christmas trees? - Hang on - was this the one with the built in bar with the copper sheeting or the one with the bar in the games room you are thinking of? (Bought the second one btw)

Warren - at this pont in time I might be out £90.00. Worst case scenario is that we can't sell and we don't get the other house. I am an IFA - do you really think I would fall into the sort of crap that might cost one a few bob?

Now you've lost me, is it just after closing time? I(We?) only knew of one, it sounded like the second one. I just got the impression you'd been to view the house, yet now it seems you'd just been to view plans, if it isn't going to be built until April.

Fekkit. Anyway, good luck

btw Pete - Northern Ireland house prices are still rising (16% last year)- it always takes us about 3 years to follow the UK trend - thats cos we are all a bit slow over here
