I have a dell axim x5 that i want to run sat nav on...
it dosent have bluetooth, but has CF&SD slots
the SD slot contains the map data,
i was considering using a CF gps reciever, but dont know there ability or accuracy..
then today i found a site doing wired mouse type gps reciever units,
they claim that they have a lead to fit the dell axim
can anyone confirm, or has used this method

I've got one of these - Holux CR100 (link below) for my XDA 11s. I'm sure you can used them with the Axim as well.
Benefit is that the GPS receiver is built into the cradle so no need for separate unit and wires etc. Been very pleased with it..

Id use the CF-attached GPS; it'll work fine so long as you can use both ports (SD & CF at once). Accuracy isnt an issue; but you'll need a moody copy of TomTom5.....

I meant to say; the reason Id look at the CF attached GPS is simply that there are usually lots for sale cheap, because people cant use satellite navigation software with them (unless they have a seperate second memory slot obviously).

the other option is a hard wired mouse into the port at the bottom of the unit
