going to bulgaria skiing on saturday
never been skiing before so have no idea how much money to take and what things are likely to cost over there.
do i take cash or travelers cheques ?

anyone been that can give some advice ?

I went there years ago when there was a thriving black market for hard currency and struggled to spend £10 per day when you where getting 7 times the bank rate on the black market. Have no idea what it is like now but the Skiing was truely fantastic and I have done many resorts in Europe.

Have fun and dont Ski off the edge of a mountain like I did, I have some lovely scars to prove it and fond memories of the army hospital i went to

I went there a few years ago and it was bloody well cheep The slopes are very good for the beginer,so dont think it would of changed much.As for taking cash with you well you always run the risk of loosing it,but thats what i did and had no probs
