I got a 3 month free dvd rental vocuher for christmas and have just signed it up now. I have Sky Movies and go to the cinema quite regularly, so i have decided to use this service as a chance to see some obscure films i havnt seen for a while or films that ive missed in the passed.

So far i have added the following to my list:

Night Watch (Nochnoy Dozor)
THX : 1138
National Treasure

Can people give me recommendations please?!

Try these, Sexy Beast is a great film, Ben Kingsley is superb in it! If you like Nicolas Cage, Wild at Heart will give you a different perspective of him! Early in his career! True Romance features pretty much every serious actor of the mid 90's and was Tarantinos first script. The Royal Tenenbaums was written by the Wilson brothers I believe and is a cracking film! Narrowed it down, these should be on your list too mate!!!

I have to say 'intermission' with colin farrell is fantastic. If you like the commitments you'll love this. Same makers, irish light humoured film. Easy to watch and will have you in stitches.

National Treasure is OK. bit of a modern Indiana Jones.

Did you watch Nightwatch? the one with Ewan McGregor, bit freaky.

My recommendation is Ordinary Decent Criminal.

One of my favourite 'obscure' films has to be Being John Malkovich.

Requiem for a Dream is a wicked film, not for the feint hearted though, it's a pretty rough ride.

Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind is pretty cool too
