Unhappy driving attire

i cant turn around this days without some late teen/early 20's guy in his small car (most likely a cinquecento sport) driving up my *** or cutting unfront of me. i wouldn't mind that but the addition of the ridiculous woolly hat is enough to drive me insane, what is this??? the new baseball cap?? where has this new trend come from? is it new? granted i'm way past trends, i'm past wearing what "should" be worn but would be interesting to know.

btw love to get them on a nice clear stretch of road though the fashion statement (????) does nothing

I wear a wooly hat......

Mind you my head is shaved and when walking the dog 3 times a day, I need it to keep my head & ears warm.

Maybe their burberry baseball hat is in the wash

So the wearer takes precautions when having sex? Doesn't want to catch any diseases? Sounds like a sensible chap to me
I'm of the shaved head, wooly hat brigade too, at least until the heater has kicked in, then I put my baseball cap on backwards, and I'm away

Its not so long ago a shaved head would have said something about the person too. Perhaps you guys who have replied and have shaven heads should reflect on that?

If you are a bloke you simply MAY NOT have one of these cars ; you'd look more manly driving a candy Pink Ford KA.

I have a couple of bonnet hats too. Shaved head, scottish weather, alpine sports hobbies, all call for something like that. But a bonnet is not the condom-looking hat though, they're beanies. Bonnets are tighter to the head, so

Maybe the handbrake lever is somewhere? I dunno?

So are flat caps and open backed leather driving gloves looked down upon?

Ive noticed people wearing these hats more often, the style that dont turn back up (does that make sence?) mine turns back up and I wear it a fair bit, mainly to keep my head warm, nothing at all to do with fashion.

Hopefully the woolly hat will replace the baseball cap. I can't always be bothered to do my hair, mostly at weekends so I'll wear a cap. Unfortunately driving a scoob and wearing a cap gives the wrong impression of me.

I look a tit in a woolly hat so won't be buying any of them any time soon but the caps are handy during bad hair days.

For those fashion conscious of you, When I can't be bothered with my hair, I fluff it all out at the back ala Fernando Alonso. Makes out I've got loads of hair but just too cool to do it properly -or I've had my helmet on all day.

I personally find a nice cheese cutter, silk scarf, and bacless "paddy Hopkirk" real leather backless driving gloves compliments my normal attire of blue blazer and a rather fetching harris twead thong complete with leather patches sewn on to reinforce the gusset.

these comprise the perfect attire for thrashing about the highways and byways.

might i add that a pith helmet should be worn in summer

I generally wear a blue boiler suit and a black balaclava plus latex golves - but thats just if I'm driving to a job, erm, I mean to work becuase its err... quicker than getting changed on the job, at work I mean.

I like to wear a white tuxedo, white slacks, a pink frilly shirt, a black cummerbund and a red bow tie...to top this off I usually don a black trillby and aviator mirror sunglasses...I usually go with white patent leather slip on loafers with complimentary red socks...I wear tight black leather racing gloves with a small chequered black and white flag emblem on the back...

The really annoying part about this is the other guy in the village with a blue wrx also wears the exact same outfit...in fact I've seen dozens of scooby drivers wearing the exact same stuff - it's really starting to p*ss me off...
