Parsley sauce. Nice to have with salmon, broccoli, sweetcorn and new/steamed potatoes. Turns a bland meal into something tasty

A nice cheese sauce, either cheddar or stilton based. Same as you'd do with cauliflower cheese.
I like broccoli on it's own but I might well try some with cheese sauce now....

Steam it, rather than boil it and add some cashew/pine/almond or whatever nuts with a little turmeric at the end.
Crush the nuts in a plastic bag with a rolling pin or other suitable blunt instrument.

Cook broccoli as normal.......maybe leave slightly firm to give some bite.
Heat up some olive oil, a couple of chopped anchovies and a little chilli in a pan. The anchovies will "melt".
Use this as a dip.......great with a selection of other veg too, carrots, cauli, etc.
Or:
Mash or finely chop broccoli, stir into cooked pasta then add a little olive oil.

I had Chilli Brocolli in Tiger Tiger in Haymarket once and it was lush.
Tried it myself (by putting a bit of chilli powder in the water whilst boiling) and it tasted minging
