Question A Quick Maths Question

A patch of land is divided between 3 companies who pay rent on it.

The total amout of rent paid is £1088.92.

Company a) pays £717.50

Company b) pays £166.42

Company c) pays £205

How do I express these amount as percentages ?

Divide the amount they pay into the overall as a %, therefore company a) pays 66%, b) 15% and c) 19%.

Depends if you want classic Latin percentage or the New York adjusted percentage.

Once you've done the proper maths bit, you can easily get the "Lying Labour percentage", as in "% unemployed", or "% inflation", just by knocking off about 10%

The majority pay an individual contribution of less than 20% of the total cost
