Has anyone been to 'Funkybuddha' in London on here?
I'm off for a night out in London on saturday night and we're going to this club, so I just wondered if anyone had been here and has got any views about the place?!
Had a quick look on the net and found out its £21.50 to get in on Saturday night which seems pretty pricey, but I suppose normal for clubs in London? I'm not really sure on prices of entry and drinks, so if anyone knows about this either that'd be great!
Thanks!

We booked the whole venue for a party and still had to queue to get in..

Once inside it's a bit ropey - needs a refurb..

Thanks for the heads up!! In that case think we may be changing the venue, seen as there's no way I want to pay twenty odd quid to go somewhere thats a dive!
Any other suggestions for any decent clubs in the Covent Garden area?

Gardening Club is crap, far too small and far too busy with far too bigger a line!!!
In covert garden there are loads of little clubs, head down soho and through to leciester square for more choices!! you need not plan just stroll and something will tickle your fancy

I liked Funky Buddha, but then did spend most of the night in the VIP lounge area, which is cool if you're with a good group of friends.
The musics not bad, crowds good, drinks are expensive, but overall its a good club.
At the end of the day, the people you're with will dictate the sort of night you have more than where you are (providing you're not somewhere completely rubbish), and Funky Buddha is a pretty good start to good night out.

I liked this club when i went a while back. We were in the reserved seating area. Minimum spend to get a table is something like £2K, but friends of friends knew the owners so got the tables for free. Have to agree it is mega expensive- we paid £170 for a bottle of vodka and got free mixers which worked out cheaper!!! Even so, i would definitely go back though.
