I was in Geneva last week and had a trip up the Col de la Fauscille (sp ?) where up near the top the drifts and banks on the roadside were 1.5m high in places. The road was clear and traffic flowed smoothly. Had a bit of fun in the car park at the top doing some ice racing in the ****roen C3 diesel rental before having a meal whilst watching skiers pass the restaurant window before coming back down to more clear, unblocked free-flowing roads. On the morning we went to the Motor Show there had been about a foot fallen overnight, and the N5 and all roads around it were flowing as usual. What chaos can we expect tomorrow I can imagine the news having articles about drivers stranded in their cars for 8 hours following 2" of snow
