I thought that as the people who committed the initial crime were shot etc...

However, if you think about it a little more, there was a pub in which there were lots of people armed with guns! How shocking is that? I didn't think that it had got to the stage where people actually carry guns around in their everyday life.

Yes Steve reading the article that does sound worrying although it does seem as if those in the pub were perhaps in the know and were prepared, still scary stuff though, not doubt about it!

Very worrying ,i wonder how this scum would like to be in Iraq with a gun ,only good thing we can take from this episode is ,at least their shooting their own kind and not innocent people.Time the government brought in real deterrents for these scum bags.

There are some worrying trends going on.

En route to the pub last night my friends were getting snowballed by some young punks, so i jumped out the car and we gave them some back, one little cocky bastaard then said he would get someone to "stab holes in me" I laughed and said he wasn't the gangster he thought he was, he then issued some more colourful threats!

This must be the new escalation of when I was at school and someones cousin or brother was going to "do you"

I spent a year there at the uni, and during that time one of my mates was at the bar in one of the pubs there when some black guy comes into the pub, pulls out a knife and stabs someone at the bar. My mate was standing right next to the guy who was stabbed and got covered in blood.

Stab victim survied though.

LOL you guys are amusing. This is nothing new apart from the fact that it made the papers.

People have been goetting murdered since time began but its just that these days alot more people are getting caught especially with the corruptness at a lower level than it was before.

Also most of the guns on our streets are either rebored replicas or ex army with the serial having been filed off.

Have to agree with you on this one however - we alwyas hear about all this black-on-black gun crime, and the police are spending millions on 'operation trident' etc to combat the problem, but if its criminals killing each other then hardly a priority for police time is it?
