NIP info
Just a quicky, cant remember my login for 5-0.
Got stopped by a copper with laser gun who informed me of my speed. All i've been given is a producer. Given the fact i was more than slightly over the limit, am I to expect something in the post??

Yeah well it took them long enough I never (conditions allowing) drive to the NSL speedlimits (and this was NSL reduced to 40 for no good reason), so it was about time they noticed me
oh well we'll see what happens - one thing is for sure it wont slow me down (apart from whilst i am banned of course lol, i'll be making use of mum'taxi)

BTW, i don't think he cautioned me just said he'd stopped me because i was doing xxxmph, then went round the car and came back and wrote me a producer. Asked me where i was going "home, just back from being called into work", "ok well go gently home, take it easy!"

If it has only recently been dropped to 40, get a lawyer to check if all the "paperwork" is thru'.
I remember a case recently where the police were trying to enforce a limit that hadn't been properly approved. And all drivers that had been stopped were cleared.
Clutching at straws but might be worth a try. If it even gets that far

He would have said:
"I am reporting you for the consideration of prosecuting you for the offence of excess speed. You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention something which you later rely in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence."
That is the form of a verbal NIP.
If it was in Kidderminster, I have seen some of the local panda drivers are now equipped with laser guns.
Surprised you didn't give me a ring.......
