Perhaps it did lead you a little and was a bit obvious but the sentiment though not 100% subtle was very well done, plus few glasses of wine made me feel a bit emotional !

LOL, you're 100% right. I'm actually getting worried at how much of a total ***** I am when I watch films. For example put Lion King on and I'll have to fight real hard when Mufasa snuffs it! REAL HARD!!!

Tbh, I saw the film at the cinema and can't remember much of the detail of it. I'll have to rent it out. I remember the message about the power of prejudice and I felt it was delivered effectively. Plus, bullock's nae bad

It's on ITV4 on Sunday (or at least a film with the same name is). Is it the same one...?

FILM: Crash
Channel: ITV4 30
Date: Sunday 19th March 2006
Time: 22:00 to 00:00 (starting in 1 day)
Duration: 2 hours.
David Cronenberg's controversial film of J G Ballard's book stars James Spader and Holly Hunter as car crash victims who meet again in hospital and find they share a sexual obsession with cars and danger. As they delve deeper into the world of this fetish, they meet Elias Koteas, who specialises in re-creating famous fatal crashes, and his partner Rosanna Arquette, injured in a crash, who now walks with a brace. Cronenberg follows them as their relationships and obsessions become more intertwined and more and more dangerous.
Director: David Cronenberg
Starring: James Spader, Holly Hunter, Elias Koteas, Deborah Kara Unger, Rosanna Arquette, Peter MacNeill
(Including Entertainment News Update at 10.55, 1996, 18, 4 Star)

Thought it was a rediculous film. It goes on my list of films I wish I had never wasted my time watching. (The only other I can think of is "Blair Witch")

I thought it was pretentious and the "point" or moral of the story was absurd. I think it is scary that the scriptwriter still thinks people talk, think and live like that. Even more scary that he may be right, but I doubt it.

It couldn't have been more hysterically stereotypical if it had tried.

Over-cooked bullsh1t playing up to an aged issue and IMO I think people feel they should like films like that as they "portray an important message" about society. It didn't for me.

Obviously I could be wrong!

We have a 4 year old daughter and anything even remotely upsetting and involving young children make me well up really quickly. I actually can't watch the last 10 minutes of AI.

As for Crash, I really liked it. However you would have to catch a plane to get anywhere near the height at which it went over the GFs head!

Personally, I thought it was crap and I can't understand why it did so well in the Oscars.

I saw half of that sexual fetish one. That is one WEIRD film. Had to switch it off, just too odd for me.
