Default which broadband connection?

I am moving out in a few months and i will be looking into getting a new broadband connection i will also need phoneline and sky (or similar) movies and sky one and m&m really

any opinions on this? best deals? i've had a look at the all inclusive packages i'd rather a good net connection and a normal phoneline rather than just a kick *** phone line..

Blueyonder/cable if you can get it. 10mb internet and its superbly reliable - mine has only gone down for about 10 mins in 3yrs of being on 24/7.

If you can't get it, you'll have to "make do" with ADSL. be warned tho, a lot of the ISP with ADSL put limits (caps) on the amount you can download, because they are ****efaces.

blueyonder is without a doubt the best ISP in the UK.

Plusnet are excellent. Been with them for about 2 years or so and not experienced any connection issues; speed is consistently good, helpdesk is always manned and the lines don't cost the earth. Customers are getting free upgrades when the 8MB lines are rolled out.

"Faster" (i.e. max download speed) does not always equal best - pipex are ace as far as ADSL goes - i would stay where you are!

I have a 1meg line with pipex (can't get any more atm where we are). Called them yesterday to try & get a reduction and got down from £23.60 to 17.99 p month (now a 35gb pm download limit but don't get anywhere near this tbh)

There service is good so I did not want to change provider so happy with the new cheaper rate tbh

Another vote for blueyonder here! 4 years of service with only a couple of downtimes, both quickly sorted, together with no capping of usage, makes them my only choice.
