Talking Last day today

A few of you will remember my interview question thread about 1 month ago, well all went well and I start the job next week

It is my final day at my job today after 10 years of working for them, I have no intention of doing much and hopefully I will be let home early (fingers crossed)

Anybody have any funny stories or tips on how to go out with a bang (so to speak) I will most probably just leave quietly (cant be doing with presentations etc, will avoid at all costs) and all boses are away so got my bottle of scotch from them, whoopee do (only drink irish, only had 10yrs to find that out) , but would be good to have a laugh on my last day of being paid to be on here

Had all intention of doing nothing for the company in my notice period (sh*t on me big time in the last 6 months) but for some wierd reason I never worked so hard (maybe its easier with the end in sight)

You should have prepared earlier.. anyhoo - all you need to do is buy 10 cans of shaving foam and pop them in the freezer. Once frozen, hacksaw one end of the can open and remove the solidy frozen foam.

Randomly place them around the office. When they thaw they swell up to their original volume - usually the size of a medium sized car.

How long does the thawing process take?

I need to know if i froze a can at home, would it stay frozing for my 15 minute drive to work. I don't want my car suddenly filling with shaving foam, as funny as the thought may be i can see it being a tad dangerous!

Quite a while - even better if you put them in desk draws, or small offices

or inside a taxi/car/bus*

Not recommended in London as you may get shot

Do be careful cutting pressurised containers open!!!

Or the next thread might be, "hi from casualty!!"

Nothing says goodbye like a fresh turd on the bosses desk!!

Not a good idea if you want a good reference though, personally, I'd be inclined to leave with a smile and a handshake*

I spent my last week whistling the Great Escape theme music - which my boss enjoyed the humour of... He wasn't so happy when I started playing on the p.c. everytime I got e-mail

That foam idea is just inspired

Ah, how I love Scoobynet illiteracy

I think you meant "the company's secretary" - our company secretary is male - unless, of course, that was an admission of coming out of the closet - in which case, your secret is safe with me and the other 6 billion people that can read this

If you can get access to your boss' PC, you can always do the trick of pressing print screen to take a snapshot of his desktop, save it into an image file, set it as his backdrop, then select the option to hide his desktop and startbar. Everything looks like normal but you can't click on anything

Oooo Mr. Pendant! Look, I haven't had my quota of coffee for the day, ok!!!

As for the company's secretary - let us never speak of it again!!

Besides, the hand lotion dispenser was out; what's a guy supposed to do if he suffers from dry skin???

I went into my colleague's PC control panel and swopped the actions of the mouse buttons from left to right and vice versa. Took him a long while to figure it out, particularly as he was Italian
