I have recently wednesday given up smoking, had a valid reason too, i go to the gym and on wednesday it took me nearly 2 hours getting my breath back, doctor told me I have asthma and that was a small asthma attack. I never want to go through that pain again(which i may suffer now for the rest of my life) So i knocked the **** on the head, been 3 days cold turkey now and not even been tempted by a ***.
Thing is, even though i dont want one, i am sick as a dog. Really weird headache, got a cold now, which i dont normally suffer from, and basiaclly very tired.
Has anyone else been through this and had these symptoms? what else do i expect? does it get easier, lol

Your symptoms sound more Asthma related to me. The misses has asthma and gets odd headaches and sniffles. Gets the shakes if she over does the Ventalin as well.
The physical addiction to nictoine should pass quite quickly, it's more likely to be the comfort / habit part of it that makes it harder to kick.

You wil get the eadache beacause you are ridding yorself of the nicotene.
Yes it does get easier. I gave up 2 years ago and think that it's one of the best things I ever did.
Easy steps - chew gum [nicotene] for a week or 2. Then go to a lower strength, then normal gum. Try not to avoid places where you wanted a *** as this will strengthen your will power.
Good Luck
