Winds of change by The Scorpians. Was in Germany recently and stumbled into a bar and some demented fool was singing it on the karaoke. I just stared and threw up (oh well more room for pils).

Must say that E-R-H-I-T wasn't my favourite song at the time. Hearing it these days without watching the video, the sheer spandex pants, long haired, nail varnished, hair sprayed, fake tattooed (?!) awfullness has diminished. Time is a great healer.
Some of the Whitesnake remakes have been cringeworthy. Especially if the original recording wasn't 1/2 bad.
I think Scorpions "Wind of Change" has aged badly. It was no.1 in the UK when the Berlin Wall came down and was relevent at the time.
I find that bad rock ballards don't particularly wind me up. Too bland...

I love 80's rock, including all the hair metal bands and their obligatory ballads. They are paragons of original musicianship compared to some of the absolute rubbish released today.
Most hits by Westlife, Girls Aloud, X factor contestants etc, are all covers.

Renee' and Renata - "Save your love"
I quite like the darkness and they are not so far removed from some of the bands mentoned above. 'except' they dont take themselves quite as seriously as poison et al.
touch me by sam Fox as well - dire - in fact any record by a celeb from some other media.
