No more hot taps ??? WTF
Are people THAT stupid that they can't work out that if they run a hot and cold tap together at even speeds, anyone then getting into a bath won't get scalded ?
Just heard implemetations are going to be put in place in new builds which will prevent the hot tap being used to fill a bath ...... how they are going to do that is beyond me.

The same people that cant work the tap system, drive a few tonnes of metal about every day. Scary thought!
The population should have to sit a general intelligence exam, to allow them to persue dangerous hobbies such as, using the kettle, hot taps, using sharp knifes, and driving a car.
Anyone that fails should be put on a boat and pushed out to sea.

You need to live somewhere in Potent. Potent is a little known ward attached to the main hospital.

Never mind stopping hot water coming out of your taps.
This is more like it http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060313/...1Fa2KkAGms0NUE

What if you only have 'x' amount of litres of hot water left in your tank ?
At least if you empty it, you then know how much cold water to add.
If you use a mixer and the hot tank empties then you get a cold bath

i'd say that's more to do with parental stupidity and carelessness rather than the deadly risks inherent in *gasp* hot and cold running water.
pressure groups for the brainless, run by the brainless. they'll be wanting a department of bath inspectors next. paid for of course, by the trusty taxpayer. just wait for the inevitable EU directive. god it's enough to make you weep ...

Yes, thick adults are to blame but I'm sure the is still a duty to protect kids who are left alone in the bathroom (even for 5+ seconds) or where the thermostat for the water temperature is turned up too high.
