been meaning to buy one of these for a year for work, but thge old hoover aqua master just keeps on chugging away, so i have put it off time and time again.
old hoover (over 10years now i think!! ) gobbled its second set of motor brushes the other day, and under inspection the motor looks like its nearly ready to die.
while routing the new coax cctv cable along the roof rfters i was above the office and found a boxed up henry![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
looks like its been damp and been left to rot/die
motor sparks and pops when its turned out, bruses are fine, but i guess the motor is shagged
found a replacement motor online for £42, i am sure that somebody on this site said you can get them for £16 from somewhere????

look on ebay? or do a google search for vacuum replacements parts.
Failing that take it to the local electrical shop and they generally stock parts for these. I know my local shop does

Take the motor out, soak it in WD40 and leave it to dry, then try it again. I bet you'll find it works OK, I've flooded my Henry a few times (using it for things it wasn't designed for) and this has always cured it![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Otherwise a new motor is around the £45-50 mark, so realistically you're into a new one.
