Wink Another tasty Sunday meal

Thanks to Mrs Higgins for a gorgeous ROAST PHEASANT WITH BRANDY AND CREAM with shallots and horseradish; absolutely delicious. I love roast pheasant but this was cooked to a tee. If anyone wants the recipe let me know.

Went down a treat with a couple of bottles of Domaine de Courteillac (2000) finished off with a nice glass of port!

Mrs Cookson made me a lovely roast chicken dinner, with fresh veg out of the garden, as she always does on a Sunday, even if I'm not here
Not the same warmed up in the micro though
Actually I dont think I've eaten a shop bought vegetable in 32 years (at home)

I made gammon with a honey glaze, sugar snap peas, broccoli, carrots, and crash hot potatoes. The crash hot potatoes are better than roasties!

Was delicious if I do say so myself.

What
They breed them at the livery yard, where my horse is. Poor things wander around all cute, the horses don't bother them. Then after a few months... they have shooting parties
