job interview tomorrow help!
Ok Ive done all the usual stuff - bought a new suit, new shoes, nice pair of earrings oh yes and done some background reading and worked through a few questions but...... I am ****e at interviews even though I interview other people regularly and I work in marketing so am great at the 'pitch' on everything but me!
Any sensible suggestions.... or plain stupid ones just to put a smile on my miserable face would be appreciated.

Arrive in good time, say 15 mins early but not any earlier to check in at recption. Whist sat in reception make eye contaxct with people there if tyhey look at you, greet with a smile always!!!, you do not know who they are and could be inportant to you. People often go have a looksee at the candidates.
Make yourself comforable but not relaxed.
Confident, not over confident
Nice smile and confident handshake the moment you meet the person(s) interviewing you. Ask how they are etc.
Make surte you know your CV and take copies along, be prepared to run through it for them.
If you like them, the company and such ansd such make sure you tell them that you would like the position and would like to work for them.
Never lie or be evasive, bend the facts for sure if you need to.
Take samples of your work with you if you can

Just what you'll feel like AFTER the job interview - that always seems to work for me.
If its 4 hours until the interview, I think ok in 5hours it'll all be over - and it will all be over before you know it!
And good luck

If the interview involves any written or typing on PC test( framing marketing campaign etc) at the end,do not spell like post 4 by the mod.You will be destined to fail, believe me!

and stop gabbing on msn all fikkin night.. get some sleep for a change.. AFTER you had your 'flick' of course
not too much make up.. dont show too much (if ANY) cleavage... its not professional.
smile even if its false... looks like your actually 'enjoying' the interview.. puts the interviewer at ease slightly too

right well that went well
i was the first candidate at 9.15 and I still had to wait over an hour no cuppa nowt. If i can get there on time why cant they? and dont you be giving me any of that family friendly bollox. I've got a cat you know, I understand responsibilities!
then at the end they casually mentioned that they have more candidates to interview on the 12th May. Why oh why oh why didnt they just interview me then aswell
then when I left i got a message saying my mate couldnt make lunch

Avoid Farting & Belching - Some people don't find this amusing.
Oh - and tell a good racist joke to break the ice.
Whoops - didn't notice your original Q was yesterday. Hope you didn't fart too much

I once had a telephone interview arranged and the guy had missed the time by 20 minutes when I eventually went out. The Agency called me up angry that I wasn't there - Told them I can stand people who are late. She said that wasn't the attitude to get a job - I told her to **** off !
