Been to MFI today, against my better judgement, because they were total crap 20 years ago ......... however, give then a chance lewis!
Anyway, found a very nice recliner chair I fancy ...... 'How much is delivery' I ask. As the poster on the wall doesn't cover the cost of the item I may be purchasing, an error on their own poster!
Doesn't bode well, however - give them a chance.
"Don't know Sir, let me ask" says teen assistant
He returns, "£25'ish Sir"
"ish?" I say ...... "why 'ish? ...... never mind, what is the delivery time?"
"2, 3 or maybe 4 weeks Sir, but not longer than 6 weeks"
WTF???![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
So, my conclusion is as it was 20 years ago ......... they are utter, utter ****e at customer service - and they haven't even got my money yet!![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
They should have gone bust 20 years ago - how are they hanging on??![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Anyway - anyone recommend a good place to buy a quality reclining chair?
Pete

IKEA has made it affordable to make your house look nice. I have loads of stuff from there, but it's almost disposable...
For real quality, we've gone to a local retailer. For our new house, we have on order a solid walnut dining table with cream leather chairs. It's different and I couldn't see us getting something that quality from IKEA, but I wouldn't go there to get it.
IKEA is what it is. Even posh people go there....
