Another what to get the gf thread
Well as title, have a new gf, after splitting from my wife of 11 years about 6 months ago, been seeing her for three months now (yeah out the pan and into the fire I know) and the weekend after next is the birthday, says would be nice if I did something romantic !!! does she not realise I had that knocked out of me years ago.
She lives a way from me so we normally only see each other at the weekend and sometimes only every other weekend but she is coming to stay at my place for the week, could book a nice meal but what sort of pressie and how much to spend on the first b'day of a new relationship?
Suggestions of the non '**** is a girls best friend' variety welcomed.

Have found out her fav perfume from her mum, been doing a little research you see, was either going to take her out for a meal or cook for her here seeing as she is staying, and was thinking of some Tiffany jewlery of sorts, amazing what you can get on eBay these days

ooh jewellery you can't go wrong there, and i think that the meal at home would be more appropiate cause then you can then just flop straight into bed after and work the meal off!

She has said that she has a preference for white roses in past conversations, so I guess the grand gesture and the fact that I sometimes retain stuff that she says could be a winner, nice one.
