Wedding Prayer, help needed.
Going to a Church wedding on Friday and want to put a short prayer in the card. Im not overly religious but respect people that are and would like to put something short and meaningful in the card.
so far come up with......
Corinthians 13:4-8,

Corinthians is often used during the service, so it may not be entirely a good idea to copy it...
We had this Apache Wedding Blessing on the back of our Wedding Service:
Now you will feel no rain,
For each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
For each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness for you,
For each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two bodies,
But there is only one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place,
To enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
To me it is what marriage is all about
We had this Apache Wedding Blessing on the back of our Wedding Service:

The one Kieran said is what we had read out as part of our medieval wedding 3 years ago. The words need no interpretation and just about say it all.

I am not overly religious, but I wrote this small prose for you, titled 'say goodbye to ********':
It'll all end in tears, you know?
The passion, the spark, it soon ceases to grow.
The "honey I'm home"'s will fast turn to nagging,
You'll look to a friend, for the pleasures of ********.
Foot massage, candles, soft musuc & dance?
Just give it two years, you've got no fcukin chance.
Marriage these days is just pointless, so stupid,
If I ever get chance, I'll kill that **** Cupid.
So heed this advice, and walk from your beau,
It's better by miles, to sleep with a Ho.
