maybe they cant
maybe they eat coz they are depressed or something
or just hungry
i havent seen the programme so i dont know whats happened but you shouldnt judge people by the way they look

Yes I agree Sara but some of them are addicted to food and cannot stop. The more they eat the fatter they get and the less exercise they do, just becomes a vicious circle in the end.

its still on now. they weigh in excess of 50 stone and cant stop eating. its a programme about what happened after the cameras rolling. most are dead....and were under 40

i guess that they was really unhappy with the way that they was and so that made them eat more and it made them more depressed you have to feel sorry for them really its a bit like smoking or drinking its a addiction poor things

but if your life depended on not eating so much, why couldnt you stop?

is over eating as addictive as smoking or is it all down to your genes?

one of my ex's brothers weighs atleast 30 odd stone he goes round his mums every night have tea there go home and order a chinese and eat all that too i reckon that its his own fault for that

on the other hand people who generally dont feel full after eating you have to feel sorry for. its like dogs you put anything down infront of them and they will eat it straight away, its temptation, i suppose that if you knew you was gonna die from over eating you would cut down but maybe they felt ashamed of how they've let themself get so fat and it drove them to the edge

i dont know maybe they buy no frill stuff from asda or something ???

fat people own fault. There have been people who weighed 700lbs, then specialists helped them lose the weight, they go back to normal life, stop theyre exercise and go back to eating **** all day and they put it back on.

Its junk food that does it. it causes that sugar rush/crash thing, I try to be prett diciplined when at work as it helps me work, I eat Fruit, Nuts, Seeds and keep the carbs down, eat little and often, the other day I lapsed and ate a big bag of Crisps, some chocolate and washed it down with coffee, felt great for a bit then just felt hungry, about an hour and a half later I was starving and felt ****, I can watch people buy all the crap, eat it and then go back for more a couple of hours later, if you eat proper stuff you just dont get that, trouble is it takes some getting used to and its difficult to wean yourself off pop, crisps, chocolate and the like and substitute it with Fruit.

I am now really into Nuts and Seeds, not low calorie but way healthier (without salt) than the crap I used to eat, have a Yoghurt with a Banana chopped into it, thats nice but ffs dont do what I did, i.e. sit there talking to somebody having dipped the end of my banana into a Blackcurrant yoghurt.....

The husband of the big woman mentioned something about the Church next door giving away food, but if big woman couldn't walk how did she get the food from them? They must have let themselves in and gave it to her.

Also, how do they afford these houses and all the mod cons? Does their health insurance cover them for not working due to being fat?

only another stone i think but i look alot better than i did and my health is alot better too for it

I watched this earlier as well. The guy that died, he was in a clinic where they apparently let him order take away food???? You would think in there especially they would be controlling his eating. What about the woman with the large tummy? The rest of her wasn't that overweight looking either, it was a weird one.

i used to play rugby i was massive must of weighed about 17 stone but then when i gave it up some of it came off and was left at 14 stone so im now down to 11 got my weigh in on wednesday
but will post some pics up when ive found them

We had a women at work who weighed 24 Stone.

She reckoned she was anorexic cos every time she looked in the mirror - she thought she looked fat !

The worse bit was when the fat lady towards the end started talking about sexual positions and the like....please.

One guy did describe it well - its an addiction just like drugs and alchol but the problem is you cant cut it out completely as you need food to survive.

I wondered also how they afford some much food and also how they get it. If they are bed ridden and cant even reach the door to pay for home delivery who is feeding their addiction?

did similar when i was 19-went from 19 and a half stone(44 waist 50 chest) down to 11.5 stone(30 in waist 44 chest)within 9 months.now i'm near 40 i'm a stable 13.5-14 stone with a 32in waist and 46 chest.
well worth the effort IMO but i wouldnt recommend anyone else doing it quite that quickly.

people that are addicted to food like someone who is addicted to heroin, I feel really sorry for. Imagine trying to get a heroin addict to only take a little bitg every day to live, but don't overdo it...
