Been saying this for a while now.
BUT: Notts has one of the highest number of speed cameras in the country, was the first authority to trial red light cameras, was the first to trial, then to implement SPECS, owns the camera that makes a MILLION a year on it's own, etc etc.
Oh, and they'ver applied to be the first to trial the tailgating camera if it ever comes out!
Got their priorities wrong, or what?

Jon Collins, leader of Nottingham City Council, demanded the study be withdrawn until its authors "get their facts right" and "before it does any further damage to Nottingham, its businesses, its universities and its reputation".
"There are lies, damn lies and statistics. Once again, people are bandying around statistics without fully understanding them and the implications of getting them wrong," he said.
"How can we possibly be the most dangerous city in the country when, for example, there are 10 times as many murders in London, according to this report, than in Nottingham?"
Because it's per 1000 residents, prat. What did he say about people not fully understanding statistics?

No surprise to see crime is very high in cities with large immigrant populations.
Look at the list - top city for assult = Leicester, Gun crime = Bradford, murder = Nottingham.
This is what happens when we import thousands of people from unstable 3rd world countries - they dont come over here and turn over a new leaf, they continue with things the way they know how
But hey as long as they are happy now theyre here - Brits may be less safe now with them here, but immigrants have human rights - native Brits dont appear to....

77th overall, when taking into account all crime figures. Not bad at all, although I'd say the Robery figure is nothing to be about.

Northampton is third worst town or city in the country for gun crime after Leeds and Bradford, according to our local rag today!
