Default One of those moments/ show us yours!!!

Just started to mow the lawn this morning when my 3 year old anounces quite seriously..

"Daddy, dont cut the daisys!, if you see a daisy, then mow round it"

PSML, look at the attached piccys!!!

got me thinking though, lets have a show us yours on your lawns, and how long does it take to mow??

this lot takes 1.5hrs normally, and 2ish if i then go round and strimmer the edges

before, complete with daisys

and after the daisys had been cut round

You'd be better off getting a small ride-on and do it in 15 minutes, rather than spending as long as you do with a keep -fit mower!!

I can do 10+x that amount of area in an hour.

and its all bungalows behind the trees too!! were only overlooked by one window of the house next door but one.

the next door neighbours dont have a clear view of all of the garden either, so it makes it quite nice too

Takes about 15-20mins

Trick is to do it weekly rather than let it grow and to have 4.5hp of pure petroleum powered muscle with hand sharpened blades (I like them razor sharp)

Zero weeds, zero moss. Although this was taken after a slight inccident whilst unblocking the nozzle on a can of expanding foam.

i did one lot after the first cut.... got to be about a month ago now.... some improvement - but that could just be all the rain and sunshine... Is it worth another go or do you risk 'overfeeding' the grass?

No he just aims and jumps at the chicken wire I have to rabbit proof the garden. Noticed he had escaped the other day, jumped at the wire and pushed it down, found him down the wrong side of the stream at the back of my house 10 mins later he was back for food did the same again 20 minutes later now if he jumps, he gets hurt I nailed the chiken wire into the fence

My sister decided it would be a fantastic idea to give her 3 year old nephew a rabbit for christmas. (she moves to Bulgaria in the summer and he ws previously hers) The deal with my 3 year old was that he could keep him on the condition he helped feed, water, clean his cage out etc etc, lasted all of 2 weeks he still helps feed him but very rarely cleans him out with me

It's funny watching the cat play in the garden with the rabbit

Our lawn is about 9 feet square and takes about 7 minutes to cut with an old Qualcast push mower.

21 is a hell of an age for a rabbit - it still looks pretty healthy too
