Default Hotels in or around Twickenham- recommendations anyone??

Going to a concert in Twickenham stadium and was wondering if anyone could recommend a cheap but decent hotel in the area?

Would it be worth being in more central London and getting the tube in??

You'll struggle to find one that's not booked...

Try looking for hotels around Heathrow - although you may end up paying a premium cos they're close to the airport...

this hotel http://www.shiphotel.co.uk/site/ is where my MD stays when he's around - he highly recommends it

Richmond is REALLY nice, but you might pay for it. Not sure how you'd get to Twick stadium - Taxi, perhaps? It's 2-3 miles (as it is from any Tube station BTW, so careful of that idea - either Richmond or one of the Hounslows, IIRC).

Edit - found the Richmond Hill Hotel and the Richmond Park Hotel, both on the hill perhaps with views. Vaguely £70-90pppn.

Try http://www.studystay.com/st_giles_heathrow.htm Feltham is an absolute hole, but this particular hotel is only a 2 min walk from the station and a 7-8 minute drive away from Twickenham.
Plus it's cheap.
