Question Mobile Phone Change - Best Current deals??

Bit of a bore this one

I have a N70 6 months into a Orange contract but I am on a crap talkplan which they just will not change. My bills are 100+ a month for using 600 minutes and sending 250 texts

I can buyout of my contract for £81 and keep the phone, which broke recently so I had replaced and have not used it yet so I should get 120/130 on ebay for it.

It makes sense to me to buy out and then get a better value contract with O2 or T-Mobile but I would prefer 02.

I'm looking for 700/800 mins with 300/400 texts what can people recommend?

I have looked a lot of places but can't find many good deals for this high useage.

Any ideas?

Chop

ps - been an orange customer for 7 years but now they are just to expensive and signal isn't great since 3G

If T-Mobile coverage is okay where you are, their Flext deals are pretty good value. £35 gives you eg. 750 mins and 300 texts.

That sounds a good deal, do they rip you off for call charges & texts?

ie. 30p a minute for calls & 12p text messges so the 180 quid doesn't go very far?

cheers for replies

Flext 35 (£35 per month) gives £180 monthly allowance. This gives 900 minutes if used all on calls. They have a calculator on the website:

Thumbs up

Try the o2 website.

Nokia 6280 with 750 Xnet mins + 750 text for 35 quid a month - online 500 texter plan
HERE

Note: Could only find that offer by selecting an online100 plan then at the phone choice page they have the 6280 with the online 500 plan as an option.
Don't be confused at the tariff page and look at the Offpeak500 plan that is £25 per month. The plan I refer to is at anytime.

the only thing they can rip you off on is texts abroad its 25p a go but thats it really. I mainly text and hardly ring anyone thats why its so good for me coz the £180 is for texts or calls. but i get a text every week off them to say ive got something like £124.50 left of my flext allowance this month so you know where your bill is all the time or you can ring 150 from the mobile at any time to see how much you have left and its free of charge.

Thats a great deal, problem is it's a 18 month contract which I am a bit dubious about.

Thanks for the post.
