Default Just wanna be friends..............

Quite a few people I know have recently been told so by their potential female would-be's.
Although this has been discussed here before but, more up-to-date opinions
will be quite interesting to know whether women need educating( that they shouldn't lead men on) or,is it man's fault to start counting the chickens too soon?

Not had that problem myself, BUT imagine its fault on both sides and probably more the men thinking they are gods gift.

Correct. So, do you reckon it's because someone got it wrong or,what?
Do you reckon it is selfish to lead someone on?

That's the problem, men see the interaction as a lead on, when all the women have done is probably fluttered thier eyelids because of bright sunlight

Methinks you are out of your depth on this thread.

Back on topic - I think if a guy acts too desparate then a woman won't fall for him even if she is physically attracted to him. "Treat them mean to keep them keen" springs to mind and used to always work for me. Show a woman too much respect to begin with and they'll think you're a wimp.

Men see all women as a potential mate. Tht's why straight men and women can't be friends.

Any man who comes on this thread and says I'm wrong because they have a female platonic friend is deluding themselves, is gay or she's a munter of the highest order.

If you get yourself into that position as a bloke then you are doing it wrong.

Take the lead and move on until you get somebody who wants you.

FPMSL!
I have platonic male friends.Through work or,through social interaction.Neither me nor them are really munters
( well,I would like to think so about myself anyway! )
But It doesn't even cross my mind to be physically close to them in sexual way. That's because,I may be with someone else or,they may have partners or,there ain't that spark!<shrugs>
Platonic friendship is more from female side.Men usually do think the other way- so I have been told.

IMO depends on circumstances, TH you know my circumstances and you know I was lead on, I don't think it was selfish although maybe at the time I did.
I think it is all down to the time being right but also what and where the people involved want the relationship to go.
