Not for one moment saying it is possible, but watched a documentary about an American scientist who had discovered a new process of electrolysis which was several hundred % more efficient than the current method of extracting hydrogen from water after producing several versions cell mostly running gas cutting equipment ,he then set about producing a car that ran on this technology,at which point he was murdered.
What would happen to the world economy if this clean fuel source become availible? it seems most of the world economy is based around revenue generated from oil would it collapse?
It seems the oil giants would have a vested interest in keeping this technology under wraps to protect the $100trillion oil industry

So if the water is burning off into Steam, imagine all the cars on the road doing that? Surely it'll be chucking it down everyday with the laws of percipetation?

The car I saw the gasses burnt that efficently that the waste gasses were virtually nil so only water came out of the exhaust, whweras the petrol/hybrid cars do spit out steam.

ETA: Interestingly when you read example sites, the cars are actually running on hydrogen, not water. The hydrogen is produced external to the car via normal electrolysis but using solar power to generate the massive amounts of electricty. Seeing is solar really isn't used on a large scale other than in deserts, I don't see that part being viable in the UK at least.

If they are pouring hydrogen into their cars how come it is in liguid form?surely it would need to be at -242°C.

ETA - interstitial hydrides

I remember a similar story in the papers about 10-20 years ago. Some dude from Cumbernauld had a car running on water and it used hardly any fuel. He dissapeared
I believe 100% that the technology for free energy (or at least VERY cheap) for all the world exists and that the only reason it isn't available is because of the power of oil companies and governments. They sell the oil to us and in the meantime will be figuring out a way to charge us for the free energy when the oil runs out
***Imgaine just for a second what the world would be like if people worked for the greater good rather than money and power***

I first touched on the subject whilst doing a project amout Nikolas tesla at college a few years back. When trying to convince the world of the benefits of ac current over the already wildly installed dc current supply in the Usa, he was denounced by well regarded scientests and the establishment, as a crackpotwithout any universtity degrees whatsoever .They all knew that his proposed AC power system would never work. And if it did, edisons company stood to lose 100's of millions of$'s. The rest is history

There are possibilities, fusion, solar, wave, wind, the problem is they are all either inefficient or not yet possible. Hydrogen power etc is possible, it just costs a lot to generate the fuel, if you can produce cheap electricity from fusion etc then the fuel will become cheaper.
