What a Fekking waste of space they are. ALL this week since Sunday, they've had it wrong.
Monday, both TV and Metoffice said hot and dry. We got thunder storms!
Tuesday, TV said rain am, fine and dry pm, Metoffice said rain pm, fine night: It rained from 4pm all evening., with thunderstoirms, which both parties said would be confined to the South East. It was also VERY muggy, when both said cooler....
Wednesday, TV says SUNSHINE and cloud, Metoffice says some cloud but dry. IT'S BEEN FEKKING RAINING SINCE 0630!!! It's STILL drizzling at 1100!
B@st@rds! Who pays them, and more to the point WHY???????? They are no better than thieves and conmen.
Oh, and while I'm on the subject, I'm SICK of hearing TV weather read in a Scottish accent with stupid Scottish-isms mixed in: "A WEE bit drier" indeed. Weathergirl/"man": this is ENGLAND "Wee" means to have a slash!![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Rant over, Alcazar

They have them out here but not sure why
Each and every day: Hot & sunny, little chance of rain - currently 44 degrees outside!
Oh and not really summer yet, expecting highs of 55 degrees!
Still no hosepipe ban mind

Well here, Surrey, they reckoned on peeing rain on mon and fine tues. It was lovely mon and absolutely hammered down tues - it can't be that hard to get a better idea. I usually watch the forecasts just before bed and they can't even get it right 9 hours before! They've got worse over the years IMHO.
Now I ride a ZX6R to work I keep my eye on it more and they have been attrocious with their predictions in the last year.
Metcheck is one of the best, uk.weather.com is a complete joke.
BBC and metoffice are one and the same, but the BBC are so sh!te, they can't even get their forecasts on TV, BBCi and the web the same

Ageed alcazar they are all fecking useless. Was planning to come to work on the bike yesterday and today as they forecasted it to be lovely and sunny in Leeds. Its still raining
and my bike is still in the garage.
Becky Mantin maybe as fit as **** but she can't predict that tomorrow will be Thursday with any great certainty![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
What pisses me off are non-commital phrases such as 'scattered showers', 'mostly dry' etc. All I want to know is whether it will rain where I live. Surely it can't be that difficult in 2006. Can it?

I'm convinced the forecast used to be more accurate when I was a teenager and doing lots of boat fishing. You needed to know what the weather was like because it could get quite dangerous if a squall blew up. We could reply on a 2 or 3 day forecast then. Now I only trust the one given out that morning but even that can be b*llux. Thge other morning I was hearing that the 'current rain would die away to leave a fine afternoon' - this was mid-morning. The fine weather that was surrounding the car when I listened to this then turned into rain for the rest of the day ...!!!!! And the weather was being read out less than 1 mile from where I was at the time - near the Madjeski Stadium in Reading where the local radio station broadcast from.
Weather forecaster? They have no clue ....

my 2p, it's all part of the dumbing down. At least they used to show high and low pressure areas, isobars, fronts etc., so you could form your own opinions and estimate things like strong winds. Now its all dumbed down to symbols for the hard of thinking. They calculate to n decimal places and then plonk a cloud symbol on the whole NW

In Jockland it's even worse. The BBC National Weather comes on and you get the weather map and it will show the whole of the UK in Sunshine. Then the Jockanese forecaster comes on with the same map - close up of Jockland - but it's gonna be raining all day
It wouldn't be too bad if either of the dozy tw@ts was right !!!!
