Default Scumball 3000

Has anyone had any dealings with them

i've just sold a ford orion done up like General lee from Duke of Hazzard, via Ebay (god bless that site) and apparantly its going to be used on the Scumball Rally, the only thing i can find is Scumball 3000 and it looks quite good fun, i wondered if anyone thought it was worth doing

dixie horn was added in after, along with Good ol boys music, guy who bought it did say he had bought some of ebay though

still makes me laugh, as word of advise jumping through the window of an orion is not as easy as it looks on the movies using a dodge charger!

I like my cars in one piece too much. Me and my exes brother used to have a ritual of taking any cars due for scrapping up on the china clay tips to soften them up a bit before they went to the scrap yard though

For all those interested I actually run Scumball 3000 and can confirm that the above is not entered yet although there is still time for it to sneak in if the new owner intended it for the next event in April 2007.

i hope it does enter as i put quite a bit of work into it and it really does look good, not bad for my first paint job.

If anyone else wants a car painting for Scumball or similar, i'm happy to do it for the cost of materials and a weekends beer for 2 blokes and some lambrini to keep the mrs quiet!

Much better than the Gumball nutters, none of the cars will do over a ton so a lot safer for wildlife and peasants, i.e. anyone who isnt a Gumballer in their eyes.

This was on Men & Motors yesterday Scumball 3000 i saw the orion on there it looked like a good laugh.

There were 27 cars which too part which were going to the Nuremberg in Germany. Only 5 got there and one was a transit van lol.

The rules of the Scumball anything which is entered must for £1000 or less nothing more than that.

One guy had a supra which blew up on him so he went home and brought his Farrari out which was over the price but no one cared.
