Has anybody got any good ideas on how to make a viking costume from house hold materials?

We ave been given a day off at work and have decided to rafting dressed as vikings!!!

I have prepared myself for the muppets who will muppitise this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so far i have built a sword and a shield, just having a brain fart on the clothing.

cut your neighbours doormat into a sporen shaped pouch, make sure 'welcome' is on show

oh i forgot to say,

"by friday" The day out rafting is friday. I wasnt suppose to be on it, but managed to blag a day off!!!

take the seat material from a blue and white stripey deck chair, cut this into trouser legs

you could also use a brown bath mat and toilet thing that goes around the front (if you have one) for a sexy chique waistcoat
