No . . .That very much is the point . . . . .Smoking . .That's a cult, rather than a religion . .Except perhaps the Rastafari movement - but even there it is not compulsory to smoke cannabis . . .
So . .Once again Skyline . . .What is your point . .

If smoking is part of your religion then they can't legally refuse to employ you because you smoke as they would also be discriminating against you because of your religion.
Simple really?

But Skyline . . .Matie . . .
. . . .But I asked you a simple question . . .Name me a religion that saiz you must smoke tobacco and polute yourself??You have not answered the question, because no such religion exists . . .Using religion as an excuse does not stick . . .
But even if we take the Rastafari movement as an extreme example, please observe the following . . .
"-Attorney General of the United States Janet Reno, however, though not a judge, ruled that Rastafari do not have the religious right to smoke ganja in violation of drug laws in the United States of America. The position is the same in the United Kingdom, where, in the Court of Appeal case of R. v. Taylor [2002] 1 Cr. App. R. 37, it was held that the UK's prohibition on cannabis use did not contravene the right to freedom of religion conferred under the European Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms"

The new religion, called Smokiology, was created by the Reverend Jonah "Matches" Hanlon, who preaches at the First Church of Smoking, in Kentucky.
On the ceiling of the First Church of Smoking is a large painting modeled after Michelangelo's painting on the Sistine Chapel, where God stretches out his finger to touch Adam, giving him life. On the Church of Smoking ceiling, a flickering cigarette lighter is lighting a cigarette.
"Because when a cigarette is lit, that's when life begins for us, as well," Hanlon said. "Cigarettes are the first thing we reach for in the morning, and the last thing we put down before bedtime."
Instead of saying "Amen" at the end of a sermon, congregants emit a hearty cough.
<cough>....................

So you get yourself ordained as minister of your own religion which dictates that you must smoke, do whatever you want, etc. etc. Apply to job of your choice that says smokers need not apply and when they don't give you the job because you smoke you play the reigious discrimination card.
