Thumbs up I like

Hey man . .

Looks like you had a pretty neat day! I like the Iraqi doomsday gun! . . I actually want one aswell . . Hmm . . .Looks like I may be wanting a new AVIREX jacket . . . .

Were the Spitfire's by chance having dogfights with FOckewolf's - coz that would have been really cool! And is that a Mustang I see behind the A10 ..

Question

Yes . .Quite likely a P47 behind the A10 . .Mustang is too slick! But it also kind or reminds me of a Corsair . .

Thumbs up Yup, one of my favourite museums.

Duxford is a good day out but wear comforable shoes as it is HUGE.

Also worth a look if you are into old, real old planes is Old Warden which is around 25 miles away near biggleswade. They have some real old stuff pre WW1 through to the 50's. Pretty much all of their stuff is airworthy as well.

I had a great day at Duxford some 6 years ago, went during the week and wandered around the restoration hanger. They had a Hurricane being rebuilt, nearly complete with all the expection covers off and the rear uncovered.

I spoke with one chap working on it and asked if i could get closer to get some shots, He spent 15 minutes showng me around the whole plane and let me sit in it!
That way a good day out
