Clearly not IMO especially as the only reason for them being 'unable' to have children is because of their politically correct 'lifestyle' choices.
At 3K a pop this is a complete waste of taxpayers' money and in the light of this news -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/5275932.stm
a completely unacceptable (mis)use of resources.

Of course it's acceptable which would you prefer bringing up baby,
this pair of hotties
or this fat scummy old ******
Men who don't like red hot lezzers are most probably perverts for young boys.

i AGREE "IF" they can afford it then NO taxpayers should not pay....but if they dont have the financial backing to find 3k doesnt mean they cannot support a child from day to day... i think if most of us needed to find 3k it wouldnt be "THAT" easy.....
i dont think sexual preference has anything to do with it.... IF you can afford it YOU PAY.......if you cant YOU DONT....simple
IMHO obviously

1) RTM'd for inflamatory terms
2) No one should be allowed free IVF on the NHS
3) Your continued preoccupation with sexual orientation is quite telling.

Personally, i dont think any kind of IVF should be allowed on the national health in present times.
I feel for the people needing it, but, not being able to have a child is life threatening. Now, that said, it was on the news some time last week, a new cancer drug has come out, and will NOT be allowed on the NHS.
Now, why is this ok to do. Life saving drugs people will have to pay for, life creating, is free to many people.
Personally, i dont see how this is fair TBH, if there was a surplus of cash to be spent, then fine, by all means, allow the IVF, but there isnt and there are people all over the country dying as they cant afford to buy the medication required
not something im that UP on really, but if you had private healthcare, would you be able to get the cancer drugs on there??? and would you be able to get IVF on that also, my guess is no to the latter......

its so easy to get you lot going!...
i DO agree that its absolutly pehetic that some drugs that could save lives are not available on the NHS.
a lot of areas have no budget to help these cancer sufferers but have money to spend on statues and the such,....NOW THATS WRONG!.
i think if there is potential that being supplied a drug would save your life the local health authority should not be allowed to deny treatment.
:-)

I personally think they should throw away IVF completely. Too many people in the world already. Nature's way of stopping the population increase and man's way of interfering and carrying it on. If you can't have kids, tough, that's the way you're made. Why can't some people just accept that they can't have kids?

It seems obvious that if they can't afford the £3000 then they are simply not in a position to have a dependant child.
No doubt part of the overall plan will be to claim benefits, housing etc once they have been given the child.
The whole thing is ridiculous and these bloody selfish people are nothing more than parasites.

Agreed UB.
The fact they are lesbian, however, should not be the main point of your post (which it clearly is)
