Default Tom Tom 6 announced

Anyone got it yet, or know if it is a free upgrade

Cant find out the info on the main site,

I have 'found' a version but dont want to install it yet, although I do have a spare pda with tom tom5 on it, but I dont want to bu66er it up as it is a pukka copy

I'm running 6.15 on my TTGO - no problems so far. They went through a series of small revisions as the updates were causing problems - locking up the devices etc, but they seem stable now. Can't say I see a huge difference, but then my TTGO is one of the original units and doesn't have a lot of the extra features that the newer units have. Have a look at Yournav for more details.

Would appreciate a link to where you "found" it, any idea if it's the navigator or mobile version?

sorry it wasnt bt it was newsgroups, now the whole lot is on there full europe maps etc

Interesting Chris

Mine is the PDA version, in fact both are as I have two PDA's with bluetooth tom tom reciever

I *may* try it on one, but Ill get work to organise getting some upgrades if its worth it

Just wonder how well the actual mapping has been updated and at what year were the latest mapping added ie will it have streets off say 6 months old ??

not sure, ive now got the v6 maps, lets hope this one has the toll road on it
