WTF is that all about.
I thought they lived in the sea like the others I eat......am I wrong.
If normally sold prawns are caught in open water then how can the others be organic..I'm confused [maybe summut to do with the bottle of red I've just drunk

I would have thought Organic prawn are fished straight fromn the sea where as normal prawn are farmed within nets in tidal estuaries, fed on pelleted food....

The farmed, non-organic prawns are fed additives.
One of them is to make them more 'pink' because that is what Joe Public wants them to look like.

with all the sewage / pollution in the worlds oceans I doubt there is such a thing as Organic sea food
Reminds me of an old Billy Connelly story about taking a dump on a plane, in synopsis, the blue ice lands in the ocean a fish swims along "along comes Mr Fish swimety swin and eats my turd munchety munch", he eats the fish for his supper the following friday lol

Now read that in Australia 10% of the prawns comed from farmed resources. So still not sure what makes a prawn Organic.
Seems organic prawns have to be farmed as they are kepy in low density pens.
