ive posted this in bikers but any help appreciated.
just bought a new motorbike on a 56 plate.trouble is ive just found out its a 2005 K5 model instead of a K6 2006.ive paid the full 2006 price for it. on the finance agreement its marked as a K6 model.my friend says that this bike should have been heavily discounted and the dealer is trying to pull a fast one.he says inform the finance company that the documents are incorrect and they will send new ones to the dealer for me to sign at which point i refuse and tell them to either take their bike back or give me a significant discount.he also says he would not deal with them but walk away and buy from another dealer.any advice would be appreciated.

Take it back, refuse to accept it. Contact the local trading standards. Contact the finance company tell them what has happened and that you will be freezing payments. Might also be worth seeing a solicitor.
Look in MCN the K5 is heavily discounted. Why dont you name and shame the Dealer?
