I've got a bee in my bonnect to go and see the Pike's Peak hill climb race next year. From what I've seen it looks pretty good - ie the footage of the Audi S1 quattro! ![Cool](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Has anyone gone over to spectate? From a two second search, it would appear flights to Colorado Springs are £550 and to Denver £450. Which isn't too bad. Is it worth it?
Was planning to return to Le Mans next year, but I think I may just head over to the States instead!

Not been to the race, but i did drive to the top in May, what an awesome place, you can see forever...... although the air is very thin at the top, 1/2 an hour and i felt really weak......

I've been to The Springs many times; wonderful place. 320 odd days of sunshine a year, or something crazy like that! Nice people and the race's fun too. I saw Ari set his record, way back in his Pug 405T16.
Make sure you check out The Garden of the Gods.
Cheers

I've looked many times, but I can't see myself! As the owner of both 309 and 205 GTis at the time, I was very proud. ![Luvlove](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/luvlove.gif)
I know the link's been posted many times before, but it does no harm again:

A couple of interesting facts.... The 405 (which was a new model that Peugeot wanted to promote) was actually a long wheelbase Peugeot 205 T16 with a faux coupe-style 405 body and Ari Vatanen in now a very un-car-friendly MEP!
