Quite astute really.
Everyone complains when petrol gets to 80p a litre and threaten to bring the country to its knees.
Whack the price up past £1 a litre for a time and then drop it to 89.9p and everyone thinks the Government is wonderful.
Lambs to the slaughter.

Mind you we will all be doing more to the gallon when all roads have a max speed limit of 40.

I'm paying under a quid for V-Power. Can't remember the last time it was under a quid tbh.
Don't make sense down here. We are surrounded by oil refineries yet the cost of fuel here is particularly high.

I wasn't particularly thinking about the revenue that they claim from petrol tax in general which is obscene compared to other European governments. But have you never heard of this thing called income tax.....as well as taxing you on the petrol you are also taxed on what you earn. So you are taxed twice for the same thing. Can you follow this or are you a clueless prat as well as an inspired debater?

I know exactly the pricing structure of the petrol thanks, but any recent rises or decreases have had nothing at all to do with the government so why even bring it up in the first place making yourself look stupid?
