Stag Do "Agencies"

Stag Do "Agencies"
Me and my best man will be organising my stag do and we're looking at taking the easy option and using someone to organise it for us...
Type "stag do" into google and hundreds of agencies come up - can anyone reccommend any ?
Not 100% sure what I want to do, but it will be either in England or Ireland, and involve paintballing / quad biking etc and then a night on the p1ss.
(Favourite place at the moment for the do is Newcastle...)
Any help appreciated

Dont bother...we went to a stag do in Bournemouth weekend just gone
The best man organised the day and night entertainment with one of these companies, come Sunday and knowing the price of the activities/clubs and accomodation we stayed in , it was very, very over priced.
We also had to be at certain venues at certain times which made it very rigid and ended up splitting the group up.
Organise what you want to do yourself mate is my advice

I'd echo the above - don't use them.
We went on one in Budapest last year which was characterised by being taken to bars (and a restaurant) we didn't like - she got quite pissy as she was clearly on kick-backs from the venues. The lappy bar she took us to was a brothel - all a bit concerning.
They're generally over-priced. Talk to someone who's been for recommendations - if in the UK it's worth getting your names down on the guest list for a club to make sure you all get in later on.

The problem with Newcastle these days, is that it's too busy.
Apart from queing for hours to get into a bar, the only "Lads" thing to do on the Nightout is visit "For Your Eyes Only"
There is a good Go Kart track in Sunderland (Can't remember the name) , and there are several paintball events in the North East.
You could do a track Day at Croft, although this could be very expensive.
If you do choose a night out in Newcastle book your room's WELL in advance. Like I say, Newcastle is too busy, and getting just 1 room within 3 months of going can be difficult, unless you stay in the higher priced hotels.
I once spent 2 whole days pressing the refresh button on the Travelodge website, just to get one room for a Saturday night. 1 cancellation, and £84 later, I was in. Had to take a family room.
Saying all that though, there are some very nice bars (keep out of the Big Market) and some very nice places to eat (Usually down some side street) and there is wall to wall totty.

There was something on one of these rouge-trader like programmes about these companies a few years back. Groups paying over the odds for a stag/hen night out, and then arriving to find their 4 star hotel was actually a flea ridden b&b, and then finding the bookings for the restaurants etc hadn't been made so they coulnd't get in anywhere..
I organised my sister in laws hen night a couple of years back. She didn't want to do much, but we had a really good evening and did exactly what she wanted to do

Sort it yourself! I used one (as Best man), for what we got we paid a fortune and the hotel was a right ****ehole!
My best tip is get paid before you book anything cos folk WILL back out! If I get asked to organise another I'll politely refuse....

agenciesare a rip off
go to riga or prague via ryanair /easy jet and book a hotel on their websites as they are normally cheap
save the money for booze but at 80p a pint it will go along way
loads of clubs and specialist enternaiment
lets face it all the lads want is booze and women not white water rafting and lazer clay pigeons shooting !!!!
i go on these lads holidays once ayear for 4-5 days and our target is £210 flights hotel etc and 200 ish on booze /women
