I'm thinking about registering but would like to know if you get loads of junk mail/e-mails from them, as I can't be doing with all that nonsense

registered years ago and NEVER get an email off them, infact its the very first email in my hotmail account going back to June 2004 and never heard anything off them since.

No junk emailes received and I registered in 1999.

If you register it does give access (well it did on the old website, which has been updated this week), so you could add more choices in when looking for a used car (e.g colour/trim etc).

Diferent matter advertising on there though. Effin cardata and the like ring up every other day.

Sell my car, and then I'll pay you £70

So I get my money back if you don't sell it in a week?

Yes, ok, tell you what, when you grasp the concept of the word, then you can phone me back, you complete cretin.

And the gits always start the conversation with "oh, hi is the car still for sale?" and you get all excited - until you hear the words "well we have people waiting to see your car and for just £70 ....."

I had those **** on the phone the other day as well - quite a few times, and late in the evening as well....
Didn't need it anyway mind you, as I've sold it now, half way through the second week in the auto trader

Who the hell ever looks at Cardata to buy a car anyway? I'd never even heard of it before they rang me, and she claimed they'd been running 25 years....

I did register on the autotrader site a long time ago, although I can't now remember the password or the username. I don't get junk mail from them though. I'm not sure that it does much though - just enables you to make a narrower search on the website if I remember rightly.
