Mazda RX7 V. Ford Granada
We got a knock on the door at 10pm. bloke stood there saying there's been a crash outside and did we own a blue Granada.
Red Mazda RX7 driving to fast up a wet road has taken out 4 cars including ours. One of the other cars was brand new (56 plate) and the 2 others are write offs. might post pictures of the other cars tomorrow.

the thing is we've sold it. buyer was meant to be collecting Friday evening. don't think he's gonna want it now

yes there is a police car... there was 2 there
dunno whats happened to the Mazda driver. he wasn't arrested at the scene
we have a witness who says he heard the Mazda accelerate hard, and the turbo spool up
got the fun of sorting the insurance claim out.
i *think* the Granny is repairable, but i know enough banger racers who'll take her off my hands if she isn't...

its a residential area - speed limit is 30mph
the speed he was doing was evident by the amount of damage he's inflicted ( 3 cars written off, including his, and 2 others badly damaged)
first car he hit was pushed over 6 feet backwards and to the side, forcing it up onto the kerb and into the car behind, in turn causing this car to force the car behind up onto the kerb. the second car was hit twice (by the first car he hit, then by the Mazda as it spun).
Ours was the last car to be hit as the Mazda completed its 360 spin

I love RX7s also. What a waste

Dont this makes me cry
I miss my RX, its was the same colour, so this is painful for me.
I am surprised it scratched the paintwork on a Grannie. And RX is a light finely balanced racing machine. A Grannie is eeeerrrr well a tank.

Sorry to hear that That looked like a nice granada and in my favourite colour too How much are they worth these days because the cost of 2 doors is likely to write it off If it is I hope the insurance actually pay you out what you'd sold it for and not what they think it's worth, I hope you don't get stitched up here.
