Internet Explorer on Desktop

Does anyone know how I can get the Internet Explorer icon back on the desktop as it has went missing. I can still use Explorer but I have to go to C:\Program Files\Plus!\Microsoft Internet and open the iexplore.exe file.
I have tried making a shortcut to the desktop of this file but its not the same as it was before.
I am running Windows NT 4.0
