And if you want something cheaper (even than carbs), go for Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies.
We were all resigned to the fact they didn't work properly on the 205GTID forum, but i've persevered with them and they are fine now, and dare I say it better than Jenvey/KMS power wise, all for less than one brand new Weber 45![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Here's mine at the LADS RR day at ProSport on Saturday:
199bhp @ 6,880 rpm
155 ft/lbs @ 6,400 rpm
Warming Up
Full power run
A stock 2006 WRX made 205bhp on the same day

Very nice!
I take it you've had head and cam work done to reach 199BHP? Did you have a power-run done immediately before the TBs were fitted? Which ECU did you go with?

Found my 205.... picking it up on Tuesday.
Engine is the 1.9 16v alloy block from the 405 Mi16, completely rebuilt and balanced with forged pistons, new liners, main and big end bearings. Gas flowed head, rally cams, high output oil pump, baffled sump. Twin weber 45 carbs. Cast inlet manifold and uprated exhaust manifold and a Peugeot group N exhaust. Only covered 9,000 miles.
L.A.D. quote circa 230 bhp on the spec sheet, but will be checking this with a rolling road when I run in some miles.
Interior is stripped and 6 point omp rollcage weilded in, corbeau race seats and harnesses. I'm guessing weighs in at 800-850k.
Bilstein dampers, rebuilt rear beam, uprated rear arb and Lad lowered springs.
New 1.6 gearbox with lower final drive and c/ratio gears/quick shift. Comp clutch.
Big brake conversion with 283mm vented/drilled discs front & back, Ferrodo pads.
Pics to follow at some point!

The 230 was quoted by LAD Motorsport on the tech sheet... fingers crossed

Excellent! Congratulations!
If your deal falls through (which I sincerely hope it doesn't) I know of a hugely specc'd 205 up for sale. The chap is either prepared to sell it complete or break it down.
So if you fancy a full bomb-proof, professionally race prepared Mi16 engine, fully mapped, with only running-in mileage running at 11.75:1 compression on TBs with full dry-sump system with Aeroquip hoses and unions and alloy tanks (with a spec-list about a mile long) it's yours for £4500 or £10000 complete in the car. A true bargain and an absolute weapon on the track!

Have a slight delay picking up as the chap has to take his private plate off and due to the age of the car, apparently the DVLA need to do an inspection

Will put up a new thread with pics when I get time. Have some further plans for it too, but all the base work has been done.
All the best
PS - do yo have a link to that engine/205?

Never had a power run before as everything was fitted from scratch, engine, bodies etc. Initial power was 173bhp during mapping, but the TB's were setup wrong (by me) and the butterflies were travelling all the way round past horizontal!!
