I have a TOMTOM unit with MAPS x.xx

Got the wife a new TomTom one and it has a newer version of the MAPS,

I tried installing them on to my TOMTOM and I get an activation code thingy.

Question is

I have the wifes tom tom with the MAPS all works fine,

In the box have a code card and stuff like that,

Is it possible to get the New Maps working On My Tom Tom

Yes you go to the shops and buy a whole new set of maps and install them.

i'm sure you can transfer them over and use the new activation code.
