Question

Anyone recommend a good place to get a chip for my Yamaha DVD-796

Been doing a few searches, most are in the USA, I would prefer to buy from a UK company if poss.

Thanks

You could try:
http://www.dvdchips.co.uk/
http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/index.html

I'd second Techtronics.

Have had good personal experience with them.

There are some really bad reviews of Techtronics on dvdreviewer.co.uk - they virtually have their own forum.

If it works then you're fine - if you have to resort to "customer service" then it's game over appears to be the consensus.

Jack

My Pioneer 525 (quite an old player) is modified by techtronics, anyway i bought A Knights Tale on R1 (RCE disc) end of september when i went to play it, machine said sorry wrong region. I then went online to techtronics site and they have a chat room where you can talk to a member of staff if one is available or if not just leave a message, i had to leave a message which i had a reply for within an hour and problem was solved
